1. Eligibility: Thaibookworld Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents who are 13 years of age or older as of date of entry. All minor entrants must have a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to participate in this Sweepstakes.

2. Promotion Period: The Sweepstakes begins at 9:30:00 pm Pacific Time on 19/12/11 and ends at 11:59:59 pm on 31/12/11 (“Promotion Period”).

3. How to Enter: Entrants who are eligible minors must obtain parental consent prior to submission. Visit www.Facebook.com/Thaibookworld during the Promotion Period and follow the instructions provided to fully complete and submit the Official Entry Form. To be eligible, entries must be submitted by  11:59:59 pm on 31/12/11. Limit of one (1) entry per facebook account for the entire Promotion Period. Additional entries received from the same person or e-mail address after the first entry received will be void. Other than as otherwise specified herein, neither Sponsor, nor anyone acting on its behalf, will enter into any communications with any entrant regarding this Sweepstakes (except for the purposes of notifying the winners) or acknowledge any entry (or portion thereof) received.

The use of script, macro or automated or mechanical devices (or any other devices intended to automate or subvert any aspect of entry) to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited and any entry through such means and any entry that is deemed to be ineligible (at Sponsor’s sole discretion and in accordance with these Official Rules) are void. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entry will be awarded to the person named on the applicable Official Entry Form (regardless of whether that is the name of the authorized account holder of the email address from which Official Entry Form was submitted) provided such individual is eligible according to these Official Rules. Released Parties are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, incomplete, misdirected, delayed, garbled, inaccurate or undelivered entries or for telephonic, human or computer failures, problems or errors, interruptions in service due to system upgrades, repairs, modifications or other causes, failures or malfunctions of connections, satellite, network, cable, Internet Service Provider (ISP), phones, phone lines or telephone systems, traffic congestion on the internet, technical or mechanical malfunctions, or other malfunctions or errors, whether caused by equipment, programming, human error or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries or the announcement of the prizes; or for any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes, or for printing, typographical, human or other errors appearing in these Official Rules or other Sweepstakes-related materials.

4. Winner Selection: The potential winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about January 3rd, 2012 from among all the eligible entries received. By entering, entrants (or if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which will be final and binding in all respects. If a winner is an eligible minor, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be considered the “winner” and will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. Potential winners (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) will be notified by telephone and/or email and/or overnight mail and/or regular mail and may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (where legal) within fourteen (14) days of date of issuance of notification. Noncompliance with the above, with these Official Rules, the inability of Sponsor to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period or a prize or prize notification being returned as non-deliverable, may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner being selected. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Each entry, regardless of method, will have an equal chance of winning. Limit one (1) prize per person per household.

5. Prizes: (1) Grand Prize: 50 USD coupon code for purchasing at www.thaibookworld.com. All costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, all federal, state and local taxes and installation fees are each winner’s sole responsibility. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee either express or implied by Sponsor. Total ARV of all prizes = $22,900.

6. General: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of a prize (or portion thereof) is permitted, except by Sponsor which reserves the right, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value at its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any person and void entries of any person who it believes has tampered with the entry process or any other component of this Sweepstakes, whose conduct or actions affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, or who is in violation of these Official Rules. Sponsor also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void suspect entries and/or to modify, cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes (or portion thereof) for any reason, including should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes and, in the event the Sweepstakes is cancelled, at its discretion, randomly select potential winners from among all eligible non-suspect non-winning entries received prior to event requiring such action. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

By participating, entrants (or if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree: 1) that Sponsor and its designees may use (unless prohibited by law), entrant’s name, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other lawful purposes in any manner and in any and all venues or media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, permission or notification; 2) to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of (a) the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, (b) administration of the Sweepstakes, (c) Sponsor’s or its designees use of an entry, or (d) participation in this Sweepstakes or any related activity or travel related thereto; 3) to waive all rights to claim or collect punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages; 4) that all causes of action relating to this Sweepstakes will be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; 5) that any and all claims, judgments, or awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and in no event will entrant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees, or any other costs; and 6) that New York law shall apply exclusively to the Sweepstakes and that any dispute with respect to the Sweepstakes shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in the State of New York, without regard to choice of law rules.
